Nick was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. He completed his B.S. from Florida Gulf Coast University. Nick pursued his graduate studies at The University of Arizona where he received his Ph.D under the guidance Dr. Jon Njardarson where his research focused on the diverted total synthesis of apomorphine and the development of new methods to access privileged nitrogen heterocycles. In September 2025 he joined the Sarlah group as a postdoctoral fellow.
