Tsukasa was born and raised in Gifu, Japan. He received his B.S at Tohoku University supervised by Prof. Yujiro Hayashi and M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyoto University under the supervision of Prof. Kiyosei Takasu. During his Ph.D. studies, he worked on development of new reactions employing benzyne and carborane. Tsukasa joined the Sarlah group as a postdoctoral fellow in August 2024, and is currently involved in research involving new bioisosteres and methodology development.
