Emma was born and raised in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Emma attended Loyola University of Chicago where she obtained her B.S. in chemistry. While at Loyola she worked under Dr. Daniel Becker on small molecule drug synthesis toward the discovery of novel antibiotics. In her free time she enjoys running and watching women’s soccer.
