Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Peter attended the University of Chicago and received a B.S. in chemistry. While at UChicago he worked for Professor Rawal on a variety of projects in synthesis and method development. After undergraduate he joined the Sarlah group, initially as a visiting scholar, and then as a graduate student in 2020. Peter joins his twin brother David in the group, and is working on the total synthesis of natural products. When not in lab, Peter enjoys cooking and playing with his cat, Robert Woodward.
