Marko was born in Serbia. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at the University of Belgrade. He carried out undergraduate research in the Sarlah group as a visiting student. He returned to the group in 2018 as a graduate student and is currently working on total synthesis of natural products.
